“I Want to Witness, But What Do I Say at the Beach?”
Many times the hardest part about witnessing is the transition from an everyday conversation onto the Gospel track. If you do not know how to do this, you will not be witnessing at all. One way to turn the conversation it is through relating the Gospel to objects around you like Jesus did many times in Matthew 13. These object evangelism icebreakers will train you how to turn conversations onto the Gospel track at the Beach. Jesus is coming soon, so use loving boldness and be compassionate. Then be led by the Spirit using whatever method. You may prophesy or pray for healing, etc. To help pull them in, after the “…”, there is an invitation to be saved.
Anchor for Boat – This anchor reminds me of Jesus Christ because He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He never moves. He always loves me and will never leave me nor forsake me. This gives me great hope, which is like an anchor for my soul.…Have you ever asked Jesus Christ to your Lord? Heb. 6:19, 13:8; Is. 41:10
Lifeguard - As I look at that lifeguard watching over me, it reminds me of the One that is really my lifeguard….His name is Jesus Christ. He protects me and keeps me from going under (into hell). So I shall be safe in heaven for all eternity….Have you ever made Jesus Christ your lifeguard? Isaiah 62:6; Psalm 121:3-5
Ocean - The ocean is so vast. It reminds me of Psalms 93: 4 “Mightier than the thunder of the great waters and mightier than the breakers of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty.”…. As I look upon the waves, I know that only God could have created the ocean. If He created that, then I know He created everything else too, including me. So I received Jesus as my Lord because I know that He really loves me…Do you know how much Jesus loves you?Sailing – As I look at those sailboats propelled by the wind, it reminds me of how believers are led by the Spirit of God…. As a Christian surrenders their will to Father God, then with the wind of the Holy Spirit, God can gently lead their lives in whatever direction He wants them to go. I know that God loves me, so I chose to receive Him as my Lord. His way is always the best way...Have you ever made Jesus Christ your Lord? John 3:8; Romans 10:9-10
Sand - Some people are so depressed. They think that no one cares about them. But it says in Psalm 139: 17 – 18: “How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand.” So I know that God thinks about you a lot! He loves you so much…So would you like to receive Jesus as your Lord?
Sunburn –If you are a Christian, then at least this burn will be temporary, but all those that have not received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will burn for all eternity. But don’t worry ‘cause God loves you and receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord, will save you from burning in hell. ….So would you like to pray?
Sunglasses – I like to get the rose colored lenses because it reminds me of my righteousness with God. Jesus Christ paid the price for the sins of the world. So since I received Jesus as my Lord, God does not see my sins anymore. It is like God sees me now through rose-colored glasses that are stained rose by the blood of His Son Jesus Christ. He loves us so much....Would you like to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior?
Suntan Oil – This suntan oil reminds me of the Holy Spirit. When a person asks Jesus Christ to come into their heart, the Holy Spirit, also called “the oil of joy,” comes into their heart to abide and gives them eternal life too. God will fill us with His joy and peace as we trust in Him…Would you like this oil of joy? Is. 61:3Salvation Prayer: “Father, I believe that Your Son Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I repent of my sins. Jesus, I ask You to forgive me and come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank You for saving me from hell and giving me eternal life in heaven, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
