“I Want to Witness, But What Do I Say about the Weather?”
Many times the hardest part about witnessing is the transition from an everyday conversation onto the Gospel track. If you do not know how to do this, you will not be witnessing at all. One way to turn the conversation it is through relating the Gospel to objects around you like Jesus did many times in Matthew 13. These object evangelism icebreakers will train you how to turn conversations onto the Gospel track. Jesus is coming soon, so use loving boldness and be compassionate. Then be led by the Spirit using whatever method. You may prophesy or pray for healing, etc. To help pull them in, after the “…”, there is an invitation to be saved.
Bright Morning Star –As I look at that bright morning star I am reminded of a scripture in Revelation 22:16 where Jesus said, “ I Am the bright and morning star.” He is the most famous star Who shines bright in my heart. Do you know how much Jesus loves you? Would you like to receive Him as Lord, so He can shine in your heart?
Cloudy Day– Those clouds remind me of how Jesus Christ will come again. The Bible says the Son of Man will come back in a cloud with power and great glory. Since Jesus is my Lord and Savior, when He comes again in the clouds, He will take me up with Him to heaven, but those who do not know Jesus as their Lord will be left behind. Are you ready to meet Jesus if He were to come in the clouds today? Luke 21:27
Hot Day – It is so hot out today! It makes me thankful that Jesus is my Lord and Savior and I will not be spending eternity in the hot fires of hell. Heaven will have perfect weather. Do you know where you will spend eternity?
Lightning - Wow! Look at that lightning. That reminds me of Matt. 24:27: “For as lightning that comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man be.” When Jesus comes again, I will be so happy, but many will mourn because then they will finally realize that Jesus really is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, and they were deceived and are too late to get their hearts right with God….But you don’t have to mourn. You can pray with me receive Jesus as Lord right now.Rain – As I watch that rain come down, it reminds me of how thankful I am that the Lord reigns in my life…I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and now He rules and reignsin my heart all day long. He knows everything about everyone and His way is the best way….Does Jesus reign in your heart? Ps. 93:1; Is. 55:10
Snow - This snow is so holy looking. It reminds me of Isaiah 1:18 when the Lord said, “though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” When a person receives Jesus Christ as their Lord, then their sins are washed away and in God’s eyes, they become pure and holy again, like white as snow…Would you like to pray to receive Him as your Lord and Savior and receive eternal life in heaven?
Sunny Day - I am so thankful for the sun that gives me light to see, but I am more thankful for the Son of God, who loves me and gives light and life for all eternity…. In Rev. 1:16 when John saw the Lord, he said, “His face was like the sun shining in all of its brilliance.”… Have you ever prayed to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior?
Windy Day – This wind reminds me what happened on the Day of Pentecost…”And suddenly there came from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them cloven tongues as of fire… and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost as the Spirit gave them utterance. Have you ever received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and prayed in tongues? Acts 2:2-2Salvation Prayer: “Father, I believe that Your Son Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I repent of my sins. Jesus, I ask You to forgive me and come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank You for saving me from hell and giving me eternal life in heaven, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
